Hops and Harmony | Tamborine Mountain, Boonah, Brisbane

Hops and Harmony is an amazing local project in South East Queensland by Jamie Lee Wilson, going from venue to venue teaching locals to sing a song together over one fun filled night!

H & H is an opportunity for everyone to get together in a relaxed environment and sing your heart out! This is an event for the community to sing, have a drink and be social. No previous experience required. You don’t need to be able to read music and there’s nothing to prepare. You’ll be taught the song, just come along and have fun!

There’s no need for previous experience or music-reading skills, anyone can join in. Lets sing, drink and be social. I love supporting local events and initiatives to get people coming out to have fun in their community, and this was an amazing event to film!

The creator of Hops and Harmony is Jamie Lee Wilson (aka JVMIE), a Billboard & Aria charting singer/songwriter and artist and graduate of the QLD Conservatorium of Music. She's performed around the world, taught singing, and led choirs and vocal groups. Keep any eye out for more Hops and Harmony events around South East Queensland soon!

As a wedding photographer based in South East Queensland, I've had the privilege of capturing weddings in some of the region's most stunning locations, from the lush hinterland to the beautiful beaches and vibrant city venues. One of my favourite things to photograph is the beautiful floral arrangements that couples select to complement their big day. Flowers add so much personality and charm to your wedding day, and when you choose blooms that are in season, they’ll not only look fresh but also help create a harmonious connection with the natural beauty of Queensland. Whether you're planning a beachside ceremony on the Gold Coast, a garden wedding in Brisbane, or a mountain retreat in the Scenic Rim, here’s your guide to choosing the right wedding flowers based on the season, and how to work with a florist to create the perfect arrangements within your budget.
